~ Does romantic love exist in the afterlife? This is something that Ive questioned for some time...as Ive come to believe that ultimately it is our relationship with GOD that matters most. Ive even preached...more than once...about how romantic love is totally secondary, if not unimportant!! in comparison to our love for God. But after recent experiences and revelations, if you will, I have come to understand that romantic love DOES exist in the afterlife...and as it honors the Creator in every possible way, this love is more real and powerful than it could ever be here. Emmanuel Swedenborg, a famous Swedish scientist, and scholar on all topics under the sun, wrote a book entitled, Marriage in Heaven, where he claims that angels in heaven are comprised of not one soul, but two...the perfect Divine harmony of the male and female component...as God so intended it to be. The Twin Flame philosophy also supports the spiritual background and significance of the loving union between two souls who are in service to God, and mankind. Although the elevated nature of this relationship is more sacred than typical romance, the love is still shared intimately between the two....and is certain to carry over into the afterlife. Love doesnt die. No way. We stay the same when we cross over, and our memories retain what we love. If we are in love now, it will stay with us when we transition over. How awesome is that. ~
