“Don’t miss out on the blessings and benefit of the people of blessings and benefit of your times,” the scholars have always reminded. How does one benefit from the people of blessings and benefit of one’s time? This would include five matters:(1) Learn from their teachings; (2) Seek their counsel and guidance; (3) Learn from their own example and practice; (4) Seek their company—by attending their gatherings, visiting them, inviting them to one’s home, and by staying in touch with them in appropriate ways; and (5) Praying for them—for they are inheritors of the Prophets, and bearers of the Prophetic trust of preserving and calling to the path of guidance—and asking them to pray for
