“Don’t tell me you don’t know what I mean dad, talk to - TopicsExpress

“Don’t tell me you don’t know what I mean dad, talk to me!” Jesse’s voice rose as he spoke, he couldnt help it. He was tired and confused and angry all the time. Angry at his dad, angry at the accident, angry at Amber for leaving them the way she did. He just wanted it all to stop. “Jesse, I have no idea what I was going on about. Forget it.” He turned from his son and began opening cupboards and gazing into them with an expression Jesse couldnt see. “You said religious convection would destroy the earth and that I was a part of it.” Michael shut the cupboard he was looking in and eyed him stubbornly. “What I meant was that you are going to be a part of the war that is coming. That it is that soon.” He shrugged. Jesse knew he should be alarmed that his dad felt a war was about to break out, but he wasnt. War wasnt something he had experienced so he couldnt take the threat as seriously as it probably should have been taken, especially not in this moment. “Really? That’s all you meant dad?” Michael turned back to his search and mumbled something under his breath. “Dad?” Jesse sat down at one of the wooden stools next to the counter and folded his arms against his chest. He could feel the tension all around him and it was always there. It had been there for six years and even though the two off them spoke it wasnt really speaking. It was like they were constantly avoiding the topic of the accident, of Amber... “Jesse.” Michael slammed the cupboard with a thundering crash that echoed throughout the open area, his eyes widening as if he had startled himself with the action. “Where are the damned glasses in this house?” He yelled slamming his fist into the wood of the cupboard with another garish crack that immediately worried Jesse. He couldnt be sure from his position if it was the cupboard or his father’s hand that had made the noise. He jumped up, rushing towards him. https://youtube/watch?v=wuV4lkO7fR8
