"Dr. Robert Pape, Professor of Political Science, University of Chicago is a well-recognized US expert on Causes of Suicide Terrorism. After studying every suicide terrorism cases between 1980 and 2005, in total of 315 cases, he has concluded: "There is little connection between suicide terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism or any other religions. Rather nearly all suicide attacks have in common is secular strategic goal to compel modern democracies to withdraw military forces from territories that the terrorists consider their homeland."
