“Dream Daporijo” Book Released DAPORIJO, Oct 2: A book named “Dream Daporijo” was released by Smt. Buchak Siga (mother of the author) on the auspicious day of ‘Gandhi Jayanti’, in Singhik Hotel and Resorts, Daporijo, which is authored, designed & edited by Sri. Tako Siga (VKV Teacher; Writer; Social Activist; film Director cum Innovator). The book “Dream Daporijo”, sponsored by the Singhik Hotel & Resorts – For your comfort (A home away from home in Daporijo), is a book destined to inspire the people to dream big. It contains the innovative ideas to enhance the beauty of Daporijo town and its vicinity and to inspire the people of the district and others to take responsibility of the development on their own shoulder which the authored had tried to deliver through the article “A nation is not developed by its government but by its people” in the same book. Er. Tabu Paktung (RWD), Proprietor of Singhik Hotel & Resorts and President TCS, after lightning the lamp and flowering Mahatma Gandhi Portrait quote that the said book is very good, innovative and indeed an inspirational. Arunachal Pradesh is back in the literature field therefore the writer like Tako Siga should be encouraged so that more writers like him may come up. He also mentioned that he once had a dream also through which the Singhik Hotel & Resorts came into existence in Daporijo whom he might have build in Itanagar or other. But, he added that it is not the profit but the dream (to give best Hotel facility in Daporijo) that mean a lot. He urged the member present and the People of Daporijo to have a copy of the same to get the inspiration. Shri. A. Krishnan (Principal VKV Kupurijo), who was also present to encourage his staff appreciated the book and its motive which is to inspire the people and advised the Author to publish more such books so that the trend of writing by the local intelligentsia may enlarge. Shri. K. Bharadwaj (teacher VKV) gave the life story of Mahatma Gandhi, where he said that Mahatma Gandhi first dream for free India and started the movement to make the dream into reality. Therefore, dream is very much required if one wants to make the change and the writer Tako Siga has tried to implant the dreams in the mind of the people through his latest book, which is laudable. The book is released by the mother of the author, Smt. Bochak Siga on which the author said that like everyone else mother, his mother too deserve such honor wherein the real honor is of the mother’s children. While giving the motto of the book “Dream Daporijo” the author first heartily thanked Er. Tabu Paktung (RWD, Proprietor of Singhik Hotel &Resorts and President TCS) and his wife Smt. Y. Paktung, who encouraged & blessed him by giving the sponsorship for publication of the book, he said that the book’s name itself gives two expressions. First, it’s like the dream of someone in regard of Daporijo and second, like asking the people of Daporijo to dream; Dream Big. And he added that both expressions are valid with the motto of the book. He also thanked some shop owner who agreed to sell the book without commissions where he added that such attitude of shopkeeper indeed encourages the budding writers. The book is dedicated to Shri Taniya Siga (author’s Chacha/Uncle; presently, D.A.C.O. of Lower Subansiri) who brought-up the author from class-III to till date and had inspired the same. Through the book, the author also remembered late Dumro Bayor (ASM Sippi cum Anchal Chairperson Sigin-I) who sponsored his first book “Future of Arunachal a Science Model State through Donyi-Poloism”, which gathered great appreciations.
