"Due benefit and bedroom tax reforms there will be a large increase in the number of homeless families and individuals. We would like to continue helping the homeless and extremely poor with as much aid as possible, anything small from food packs, cleaning packs, bedding packs, clothes, footwear, any camping equipment, and cooking equipment, torches & batteries. We would also like toys, children’s clothes & footwear, games anything to give away to kids that get nothing. To make this possible we need to hear from! People with transport willing to collect items in their local area! People with storage willing to hold items to be redistributed in their local area! People with some free time to help with distributing and sorting items! We also need people to approach local government bodies to obtain a free short term lease on empty shops as a collecting point and also for items to be redistributed. We also need people to approach businesses in their local area for free space to store items if the project takes off. We would like to hear from local charities, volunteer groups, and any other local body that provides a service to the homeless and poorer families, so we can help in some way.
