We had researched all the camps and areas we wanted to see prior to contacting you and with your guidance and advice you made our itinerary something special. From Victoria Falls - Kafue National Park - South Luangwa National Park and ending in the lower Zambezi it was truly memorable. Everything went so smoothly from flights to transfers. All the camps were stunning and we thank you for your suggestions of doing the different areas of Zambia as they were all unique in their own special way. We had so many exceptional wildlife sightings that we couldnt believe our luck but certainly the guides at all the camps deserve credit for their amazing skills and knowledge in locating the animals. Heres a list of some of the things we were lucky enough to see A number of Big Lion prides 18 lions stalking a buffalo herd Leopard 7 days in a row a number of different ones day and night Male and female lion greeting each other Leopard dragging a kill up a tree Leopard cubs during the day Big Male Mr Busanga during the day and walked through camp at night 16 Lions circling the vehicle Wild Dogs and Pups and Wild dogs hunting Catching a 5lb tiger fish while fishing in the Zambezi Monkey stirring up an impala – pinching his leg Plane landing aborted just before touching down due to monkey’s on the runway Lion with cub on the bank while fishing Hyena eating hippo and Hyena eating buffalo – then giving it up for the vultures Lions with an impala kill Pink Flamingo on transfer from Old Mondoro to Chiawa Walk to White Rhino Fighting animals – Hippo, Elephant, impala, Kudu, Buffalo Albino Impala and Albino Baboon Martial eagle with a baby Warthog kill Elephant walking through camp and around tent constantly Elephant walking through lunch set up – staff panic Hot air balloon ride x 2 Kafue National Park Helicopter over Vic Falls and through the gorge Dinner and lunch on the Zambezi Canoe on the Zambezi Walking Safari – found a poachers snare All day drive to remote area north of Luwi Cheetah Snakes Porcupines Honey Badgers Owls Heaps of Birds Lichtenstein Hartebeest Eland, Roan, Kudu Various Antelope (impala, Puku, waterbuck, lechwe, bushbuck) As you can see from the list we were very lucky indeed. To cap it all off we were amazed to come across a leopard in a tree when we were transferring from Luwi to Chinzombo.
