POSITION: Child & Family Intervention Counsellor CLASSIFICATION: Permanent Full Time POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The counsellor in this position will be responsible to receive intakes and provide case management in children’s mental health including: assess child and family functioning; provide crises intervention; consult with appropriate professionals; strengthen family functioning; enhance child’s functioning in the school system; refer and collaborate with community resources. QUALIFICATIONS: B.S.W or 2 yr. Social Service Diploma Training in Crisis and Mental Health Intervention Minimum 2 yrs.
