**EVERYONE WILL GET A PRINT OUT OF THESE EVENTS TONIGHT AT PRACTICE*** Calendar of Events for The Cap City Falcons September 6, 2013 – Popcorn Fundraiser Turn In Make sure that you have your orders turned in for popcorn fundraiser, items will be in within 10 business days from the order date ALSO we will be holding a pep rally at the field that night to get the kids pumped up for the homecoming game. Bonfire, Smash the Car fundraiser, movie, cheer-off, and more. September 7, 2013 – Homecoming Game and Dance Dance will be held at Big Run Shelterhouse from 8-10pm Tickets Available at Concession stand- Price $5 Formal Dance so please dress accordingly September 14, 2013- Fundraiser at Bob Evans We will be holding a fundraiser at Bob Evans on Rome-Hilliard Rd Every flyer that is presented, a percentage of the bill is donated to the organization. Please pass the flyer to all friends and family. If you do not have a flyer, please see Missy. September 15, 2013 – Family Fun Day at the Field We will be holding a family fun day at the field. This will be our big family cookout for all of the members of our Falcon Family. This will be a potluck style cookout for everyone. A sign up sheet will be available to list what you will bring. We will have games set up for the kids as well as volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, music, etc. Please come out and spend the day with all of us as we go into the Fall season and prepare for the hardest part of our schedule. September 20, 2013 – Pep Rally after practice This will be the weekend of our home game versus Westland. Before every home game we will hold a pep rally at the field the night before to get the kids into the spirit of the game. October 4, 2013 – Pep Rally after practice This will be the weekend of our home game versus Georgian Heights Packers. Before every home game we will hold a pep rally at the field the night before to get the kids into the spirit of the game. October 19, 2013 – PINK OUT DAY!!!! We will be holding a PINK OUT DAY AGAINST BREAST CANCER!!!! All of the football players and cheerleaders will be allowed to wear as much pink as they can during this game. We will have items for sale and proceeds will go to The Nicole Wilcox Foundation. This is a local foundation that assists local cancer patients and survivors with treatment and everyday expenses that they need help with. There will be several activities taking place on the field during this game. Please feel free to wear your PINK to support breast cancer. We want the entire field to be PINK!!!!! HOT PINK SOCKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE - $5 per pair. October 26, 2013 – PLAYOFFS Playoffs are played between the top 4 teams that finish in our league. This game determines who will be playing in the Championship on November 2 at Briggs High School. We have a great chance to get to this game so lets start now!! 1st vs 4th 2nd vs 3rd November 2, 2013 – CHAMPIONSHIP GAME This game is held at Briggs High School. The top 2 teams from every division will be playing for the championship. November 3, 2013 – Cheerleading Competition The WGP Cheerleading Competition will be held on this day. Location TBD and we will announce this events details. Please make sure that you come show your support so that we can win the spirit award for the Falcons Cheer Squad!!! November 16, 2013 – BANQUET Location and Time TBD and announced.
