#EVERYchild #India Innovation can come in many forms, from finding inventive ways for girls to get to school, to developing ready-to-use therapeutic food to treat malnutrition, long-lasting insecticidal bed nets to prevent the spread of malaria, or a free, open-source framework to collect data and communicate using basic mobile phone technology. For UNICEF, innovation is not only about technology but about processes, partnerships and products – and fundamentally about changing systems to close the gaps that keep so many children from fulfilling their potential. Group Handwashing Stations under Swachh Bharat, Swachh Vidyalaya campaign in India is one such - this path breaking innovation has the potential of improving the education and health outcomes of 110 million children who have Mid-Day meals daily in school, across the country.
