#EWOD Part 2 of the Evening Stretch Routine comes with a more - TopicsExpress

#EWOD Part 2 of the Evening Stretch Routine comes with a more focused hip opener stretch, a back and quad stretch, and neck stretches. This batch of stretches is difficult to explain in text, so please watch the video to catch the nuisances. That being said we will now stil cover the key elements to each. For the groin/hip opener remember that half of the time we are trying to get gravity to push us deeper and the second half we are trying to stay loose and let the stretch develop. For the back/quad stretch we have ZERO intent in trying to lay backward to stretch the quad, as many PTs would tell you to stay as far away from us as possible if we encouraged that type of aggressive shear loading on the knees and hips; its a passive stretch, play it safe. For the back stretch many of you will find tightness in your shoulders causing a lack of benefit in this stretch if you are not trying to reach your body’s center skyward; don’t go up and BACK, but up and ARCH. Lastly w/ the neck stretches, as we talk in the video, placing your hand on your chest will help give you a spot check for over-extension. We are not interested in stretching the lumbar by way of the neck, so keep the stretch local. As mentioned in the first video, we will release all the set breakdowns with the final video… be patient or just start performing the sections released so far. SPECIAL NOTE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE EMAILED US ABOUT THE GHOST PROTOCOL BETA PROGRAM We will be releasing this soon and are stoked at the large amount of interest! Expect a group response to kick things off in the coming days. Be prepared to become Ronin.
