#EcoMonday: Ever wondered how the teachers from Marsiling Primary School teach kids about sustainability? :) Well, what better way than to walk the talk! Learn how Mr Woon, Ms Siti Aisyah, Ms Yong and Ms Farhanis protect our environment through the following simple steps: ✎Mr Woon: “These materials can be cleaned and reused to make brand new experiment set-ups. My students can also try to recreate their own from home!” ✎Ms Siti Aisyah: “I switch off main plugs even when the electrical appliances have been switched off.” ✎Ms Yong: “I crush cans before putting them into recycling bins so that more cans could be loaded onto trucks. This also cuts down on trips and fumes!” ✎Ms Farhanis: “I collect materials printed on one side to make into my own notebook as the other side could still be used!” Marsiling Primary School and NEA also recently launched a resource kit, ‘Project Buddy Clean’, that aims to inculcate positive social values and norms on cleanliness. :) Read on! bit.ly/1I2mXbK
