│†│ ♥ Előfordul, hogy nem vagyunk elég türelmesek, a kezünkbe vesszük az irányítást és erőltetjük a dolgokat. Amikor ezt tesszük, akkor lemaradunk a legjobbról, amit Isten tervezett számunkra. Ábrahámmal és Sárával is ez történt. Isten gyermeket ígért nekik, azonban teltek-múltak az évek, de semmi nem történt. Elhatározták hát, hogy segítenek Istennek. Sára komplett tervvel állt elő. Ahelyett, hogy türelmesen vártak volna Isten időzítésére, a saját tervüket valósították meg. Ábrahám, Sára szolgálójával hált, és nagy örömükre megszületett Izmael. Sára és Ábrahám azt mondták: „Itt van a gyermek, akit Isten ígért nekünk!” Isten viszont ezt mondta: „Ez nem az a gyermek, akit én ígértem nektek. Ez a gyermek a saját tervetek eredménye.” Tudjuk a Bibliából, hogy nagyon nehéz volt Izmaellel, állandóan problémák és konfliktusok voltak miatta. Mivel nem Isten ígéretéből, hanem emberi erőlködésből, és okoskodásból származott, – és most értsétek jól – nem volt kegyelem hozzá. Azonban, amit Isten rendel el, ami Tőle születik, ahhoz mindig elegendő kegyelmet ad. Tizennégy évvel később, az Isten által rendelt időben, Sára életet adott Izsáknak; a gyermeknek, akit Isten ígért. Ha elengeded Izmaelt, fel fog tűnni Izsák, az az ember, akit Isten ígért. Már régen megtanultam, hogy Istennek nincs szüksége a segítségemre. Ő már mindent eltervezett. Ismeri a történetet az elejétől a végéig. Csak bíznunk kell Benne. Nem kell kifeszegetnünk ajtókat. Nem kell manipulálnunk az embereket, hogy szeressenek, vagy azért, hogy jobb pozícióba kerüljünk. Maradj meg Isten békességében, és bízz az időzítésében. Ő majd kinyit előtted ajtókat, amit ember be nem zárhat. Csodálatos embereket fog hozni az életedbe. Lefegyverzi az ellenségeidet, és eljuttat oda, ahol lenned kell. Ne „Izmaeleknek” adj életet, amikor Isten „Izsákokat” akar neked adni! We know from the Bible that it was very difficult Izmaellel , problems and conflicts were constantly about him.
