(Emmanuel Barbee An Unsung Hero) For twenty three years Mr. Emmanuel Barbee has been doing his best to start a new movement in Urban America called the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement which only exist online for now because he lacks support for his vision to improve Black America. There is a need for Emmanuel Barbee organization in such a time as these. We have all witness in the media of unarmed black men from Michael Brown, Mr. Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and many more examples of black males being killed by white law enforcement with impunity. It’s a felony if you are caught conducting a dog fight but Black life in America does not matter as far as the state is concerned. No black organization or any black leader in America has a plan on how to change the current situation taken place in our urban community Emmanuel does and he provides a detail road map in his book what they are going to do about it. Through his organization (GRCAM) focus is on providing goods and services to the low income African American communities working directly with single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families within those communities. His organization will also focus on ending urban violence, gun violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities they will serve beginning in his city Chicago. He reached out to this former Alderman and former State Representative about his plan to improve his local community his idea was brush off as unrealistic. He lack support from established black organizations in his city and this is why we created his virtual organization. He started GRCAM in 1991 to move beyond the four walls of the church to make his presence known online and to broadcast his message on social media. He is on 300 social networks and he has 125,000 people worldwide on his friends list. He assist others who have accepted his hand of friendship with finding college scholarships; grants; nonprofit grants; housing; legal services and job leads on a local and also on a national level for free. Unfortunately, he only has three people on his advisory board which is unacceptable to him this is why he decided to make his organization private to exclude passive spectators on his friends list and small minded individuals so that he can focus on those who are in agreement with his plan/vision to improve Urban America. Since he lacks the manpower and the capital to jump start his private for profit multi service based business he decided to write and publish his book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second Edition. This book is an auto-biography about his experience growing up in the inner city of Chicago. He wrote this book for three reasons: one reason is to raise awareness about the genocide which is taken place within our inner cities in America. Another reason why he wrote this book is to promote his organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Finally, he wrote his book in order to generate capital/seed money so that he can hire thirty talented people within the state of Illinois or beyond who qualify and also who agree with his plan/vision to come to Chicago and join his management team to assist him in running the daily operations of his business. He want to make Chicago a model first before he expand to 25 other cities within 25 states. He calls upon the art community he seeks local artist and national artist in the area of Poets, Performing Artist, Musicians, Actors, Actresses, Singers, Models, and Film Director who will work with him in turning his book into a movie/play. He prays that his book and film/play would reach Angel Investors, Donors, Philanthropist, Sponsors, and Social Entrepreneurs in America and abroad to work with him in moving his virtual organization from behind a computer starting in Chicago. His organization will have three main components: a social service component, a spiritual component, and a political component. Our social service component - would focus on providing goods and services to single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families, who reside on the Westside of Chicago and also on the Southside of Chicago to families that want and need our services. We will confront the Willie Lynch Mentality which is holding us back as a racial group. Pending on our budget and sponsorship we would offer private employment within the organization to our clients and members. We will offer a second chance program for ex offenders, former gang members, and the homeless. Those who are business minded we will teach them how to start their own business and work with them until it materialize. Our goal is to first stabilize the community through our outreach programs and create legitimate jobs so that our young people don’t become career criminals. As a result our clients can raise their family in a safer environment. Our spiritual component – Would be optional for secular people. We will have a Christianity department to develop in their faith. We will do cooperative alliance with moderate Muslims to include others in the community about how to co-exist respect one another belief system and pool our resources collectively for the common good of the community. Our political component – We will create our own independent political party at the local level. We will help write and pass laws which will be compatible with the dominant culture which will protect local residents and give community rights to those affected by bias in the current system. Once my organization is established we will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions and create laws aimed specifically at those who continue to destroy black life through our political component. They will focus on local issues within the black community and focus on changing current gun laws within the city and state of Illinois. We will also do cooperative alliance beyond the black community so that this can be a win win situation for the people of Chicago and surrounding suburbs of Chicago. Once we are established in Chicago we will expand to 25 other cities within 25 states as mentioned in my book. They are as follows: Alabama; Arkansas; California; Connecticut; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Indiana; Kansas; Louisiana; Maryland; Michigan; Minnesota; Mississippi; North Carolina; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; Texas; Tennessee; Virginia; Washington; and Wisconsin.
