† Entrapment † And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. Rev. 12:10 ESV In a supreme court case in 1932, Sorrells v. United States, a prohibition officer repeatedly tried to get a factory worker to buy him whiskey. And when the man finally gave in and did the officer arrested him for selling whiskey. This was labeled entrapment, which is where the government persuades you to break a law that they created, and then tries to prosecute you for doing it. Our enemy will place a bad thought in your mind and then immediately accuse you of wrongdoing: Look at you! And you call yourself a Christian. Even though it was not your thought to begin with he, will try his best to make you believe it was yours, and then make you feel guilty over it. This is a crowd control tactic. If he can make you walk around all day with your head hanging down, feeling unworthy to even pray because of your bad thoughts, then he has successfully neutralized you. Tomorrow he will try it again. Do not fall into entrapment. God is above all of this, He knows who is to blame, and his day is coming. Push these thoughts aside, hold your head up, stand up straight and walk as a child of God today.
