“Even the Gods love jokes.” …..Plato (429 - 347 BC) – a classical Greek philosopher, mathematician, student of Socrates (469 BC - 399 BC), writer of philosophical dialogues, and founder of the Academy in Athens, the first institution of higher learning in the Western world. He was also the teacher of Aristotle (384 BC - 322 BC; another eminent Greek philosopher, polymath, founder of the science of biology, and the teacher of Alexander the Great). Plato helped lay the foundations of Western philosophy and science.
