“Every deed a person does is for his own self except fasting; it is for Me and I compensate for it”.’ Allahuakbar! Ramadhan will start this Sunday and May Allah allow us to reach it. As a prerequisite it is pertinent that we abandon sins and we ask all those who we may have offended to forgive us. imagine all our good deeds in Ramadan go to waste just because we couldnt say sorry. On that note I ask all those who i may have offended to forgive me! With that being said, lets start this ramadhan strong and end strong! A gift from Allah to practice self control to help us restrain our souls from desires and tame the strong desires. For us to use this training ground where the devils are ceased so we can fortify ourselves. A gift of purification, mercy and forgiveness! An opportunity to attain taqwa and happiness. With the virtuous acts rewarded as if they were obligatory deeds and the obligatory deeds multiplied in their reward 70 fold. The experience of hunger and thirst reminds us to be generous and give in charity and realize how weak and dependent upon Allah the Giver of sustenance we truly are. With this remember fasting is for Allah to express how grateful we are inshaAllah for the countless blessings He has given us. We fast for You Ya Rab to earn your love so accept it from us and grant us victory. If this benefits you make dua for me...if it didnt....make dua for me! :-)
