The Oasis of Hope Devotional for 2day! Even in d midst of our trails, God is good. The purest gold comes through d hottest furnace, & d brightest thunderbolt comes from d darkest storm of life. God intervenes & shelters us so that we will be pressed more closely to Him. Beloved, despite yo ups & downs whether u are rejoicing on d mountaintop or wallowing in d valley – God is good. And His goodness is a foundation solid enough to build yo faith upon. When was d last time u thanked Him for d gift of life? Why not take a moment to thank Him for all His goodness today. If things are going well, we are enjoying good health, & d bills are paid, then God is being good to us. However, does it mean He’s not good when things go wrong? If one person is hearing wedding bells & another is served with divorce papers, has God’s goodness changed somehow? When heartbreak & sorrow cloud d mind, & when tears never seem to stop? Is God good when He seems distant & unresponsive? Whatever yo circumstances, do not doubt God’s goodness towards u. Sometimes He allows us to go through difficulties, but He does not leave us alone in them & His promises never fail. Praise God in all circumstances, in both good times & bad. He is all deserving of yo love & total devotion. U may be down today but chose not to remain down, look to Him d Maker of Heaven & Earth! Yo best is yet to come! Make time to recall His goodness over d years. “God is good to me! He holds my hand & helps me stand! “Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” Psalm 34:8. Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank u for Yo goodness & faithfulness in my life. I thank u for d good things u have in store for my future, Amen.
