Everyone is making people aware of ALS, I want to introduce you to this rare cancer: Multiple Myeloma. I, being among those in the CNA community, have never heard of this cancer until my older brother Michael was diagnosed a few months ago. People need to know that there is no cure, but with treatment, he can live a bit longer. Due to the rarity of this form of cancer, and the treatment he needs for it, the insurance company will not cover one of the medications he needs. It is sad that even the sick cant get help due to the fact that MONEY speaks first. I want to know since when does a Human life come after the almighty dollar?? I am sure I will get shit for posting about my brother, but there are some things that people need to understand. There are many illness that we know little to nothing about. Drug companies need to get their shit together and stop letting people suffer because they are money hungry. Please pass this link around. Help promote awareness of this sad and tragic disease.
