[Ex Rambo] ORNS officers and men from the 12(B) Rescue Battalion took part in Ex Rambo today. Usually held at night, this is the first time Ex Rambo commenced during the day. Ex Rambo is a series of simulated scenarios which ORNSmen take on to test their operational readiness and proficiency in rescue and medical treatment. Mobilisation started as early as 8am, and our ORNSmen had to turn up within four hours. To prepare our ORNSmen for Ex Rambo, they were tasked to undergo refresher training and a slew of proficiency tests. Rescuers also had to take the Rescue Equipment Proficiency Test which tests them on the use of rescue equipment. #ORNS #OurVeryOwnRambo #OperationallayReady
