"FINAL ROSTER": The 53-man roster was announced yesterday, although it is not a "final" one. Pitta will be placed on the IR-Possible to Return list on Tuesday, so his spot will be filled then (Bajema ?). Still, the team is being molded in some surprising ways. Based on some cuts by other teams, there are players that still may be ejected. 1. I was off by five in my roster projections. I whiffed on Anthony Allen, Bajema, Tandon Doss, Mark Anthony and Omar Brown. I totally missed on the OL, but I never expected them to carry ten. 2. Anthony Levine must have shown a lot more at ST than Mark Anthony. Of course, I heard a lot of bad reviews of the latter AFTER I chose him. Trawick flew under my radar as well. 3. As for the OL, what we saw in the Pre-Season games was a huge drop-off from the first string. I do not see them holding on to ten spots here, and figure they will sign a veteran before the second game. They can hope to get through the first game with what they have, and not have to guarantee a salary for a year after they sign a veteran. 4. Unlike Pitta, Asa Jackson and Christian Thompson do not count against the 53; since they are suspended. We have a few days to study the roster and see how the team prepares for Thursday - THE START OF THE SEASON !!!!
