*FIRST ALASKANS INSTITUTE NOW HIRING SUSTAINABILITY ASSISTANT* This position is an excellent role for an individual who enjoys meeting new people, likes to nurture ongoing relationships, is excited and passionate about the mission of First Alaskans Institute (FAI), is motivated to grow within this field, has a keen eye for detail and enjoys administrative aspects of the work. The Sustainability Assistant works closely with the Sustainability Director and President/CEO to promote the sustainability of FAI. The Sustainability team supports the financial stability of the organization through ongoing implementation of a values-based approach to donor stewardship and strategies, giving programs, grantsmanship, and through the planning of meaningful events and opportunities to sustain and foster the advancement of our vision and mission through the strategic and annual work plans. This position works to uphold and advance the sustainability priorities of FAI through administrative and office support of the Sustainability team and organization in an exciting statewide focused environment. The Assistant should exemplify our Native peoples within an indigenous team environment that uplifts, supports, and utilizes our cultural and organizational values. Essential to this team approach are members who are the right fit, and bring the capacity and experience that contribute to our ability to succeed in our work for our Native community.
