:::FIRST TIME HOME BUYER TIP::: Be sure your credit record is in good shape before entering into the home buying process. This means you need to view your credit report from ALL THREE AGENCIES and not just one. Many times, creditors will not report to Experian, TransUnion and Equifax -- theyll only report to one agency. So, when clients view only one report and see that its favorable, theyll often assume the other two reports are also favorable. Ive had clients get the surprise of their lives when they dont qualify for a home loan or for special incentive programs because of issues appearing on one credit report. Again, check all three and then be sure to RESOLVE the issues appearing on all three reports so that you can move smoothly through your home buying experience.
