GiGi spent several years as a shelter dog, watching, waiting as other dogs came & went. We thought GiGis happily-ever-after had come at last when she was adopted in 2012. In a sad turn of events, GiGi was returned to the shelter in June, reportedly due to separation anxiety. Heartbreaking, especially since she is now 8-9 years old. GiGi has received no adoption interest since her return, even though shes loving & gentle with people. GiGi is spayed, microchipped & up-to-date on vaccinations. Her needs are simple...a cozy bed, regular meals & plenty of time by your side. GiGi is dog-selective, so may need to be the only dog in your home. She has mild arthritis, which is common given her age. She gets around just fine. Inexpensive meds & daily walks will keep her comfortable. The odds for adoption are stacked against GiGi, but we just know her hero is out there! We hope you will share to the moon & back for this wonderful dog.
