**FYI** Of that 670 page document, if you are planning to read some of the letters from those against the racetrack. PUT ON A THICK SKIN. It gets absurd in my opinion. Im not against the racetrack, Im against the noise and crime it will bring. It goes pretty much like that. OR Ive lived in Indian River my whole life (or most of my life) - HOWEVER they are unable to attend the Public Meetings because they are out of town AND their letters are from ANTOHER STATE!! Can somebody PPLLEEASE do me a favor and find me the FACT that there are SEVEN HUNDRED RESIDENTS living within a 1 1/2 mile stretch surrounding Griswold Mountain?! I really find this very hard to believe. If a person came up here for the quiet and natural setting would you be packed like a mobile home trailer court? Im not familiar with Chippewa Beach Road (which I thought was by the nice new improved bridge at the beginning of the town center by the golf course). No, Im not a homey, and Ive never claimed to be, been here only 14 wonderful years, however, I live here all year, permanent, have a job all year, pay taxes all year and am not shy about saying I live in Indian River. But 700 !! residents in an area of 1 1/2 miles... cmon! I dont even think Mullet Lake or Burt Lake boasts that! And really who would want to? House upon house, your door slamming against the siding of your neighbors house.... YIK! Please enlighten me with the fact or fiction. Stop laughing.... I just think its absurd.... ABSURD I say. :)
