{Facebook Friday} Profile/Page/Group So you’re here and you’ve figured out how to navigate the Facebook beast! You have a profile, maybe a page, and you’re definitely in a group. People get confused all the time and call different ones different things. So let’s talk about the differences between the three and how you want to use them for your business. **Profile: Is for personal use only and the posts by the profile owner appear in friends’ newsfeeds. You can make friends, send them messages, and build relationships. This is where you want to keep adding new friends, getting to know them, and building those relationships. **Page: Can be used for business or personal and the page admin can make posts which will be seen by people who liked your page AND their friends if the “liker” engages with it. Posts will appear as the page, not the admin, and no one needs to know who the admins are. You can have as many “likes” as you want; however keep in mind; it’s the genuine ones we’re after. This is where you want to schedule your 2-3 daily posts with the themes/campaigns you create. **Group: Can be used for business or personal and posts can only be seen by members of the group – not their friends unless the group is set to public. As many people as want can join the group and you can choose different settings for your group, to make it easily visible or private. Admins are listed and everyone can see who they are. Whether technology is your friend or not, Facebook is a vital part of your business and you need to be part of the game if you want to make it big. This is NOT where you should spend all of your time and waste it (by playing games!); this is where you need to work smarter not harder. Be efficient, be quick, be genuine. >>>>YOUR TURN
