• Falling in love with Allāh • Allāh has mentioned the word ‘love’ about 90 times, in the Qur’an. He didn’t define what is love, rather He told us the very first consequence of love, which is commitment. Today, we have seen many claims that love is in the heart. This is one of the biggest lie that ever been told. Love comes with obedience. Love comes with sacrifices. Love comes with letting-go the desires. Love comes with accepting His qadr. Love is not a word to define, it’s actually define with actions. Let me take you 1400 years ago. A man who named Salman Al Farisi. He was a son of a noble man, he came from a privileged lineage. But for the sake of finding ‘God’, he let go his everything. From a master he became a slave. He was sold yet his soul remain strong. He sacrificed his youth, wealth, time and everything for the sake of God that he don’t have any clue. But in the end, Allāh made him to be amongst the very best. For his suffering and sacrifices, Allāh has rewarded him the best in both worlds. —— Remember, in love.. you sacrifice yourself for the beloved.
