‘Farmed intelligentsia’ I know ‘publications’ (not named) to be conniving and underhanded. I have seen work that was supposed to be ‘to promote - blar blar, and they haven’t even credited the creator. It’s a sleaze business and at the contributors own risk. When reporters’ got branded gutter press it was because they worked for the lowest of low and if they could earn their living any other way they did. The worst gutter press people turn out to be only 3 straight ‘a’ A’levels, (as someone who scraped through these details are important). While the average has 4 ‘a’ A’levels+ even to get a college interview. These people are ‘farmed intelligentsia’ The late Tony Benn (Viscount Stansgate - a title which he only passed on to his son) MP’s family had done well out of a firm called Benn Publishing, subsequently sold to UBM. he had married a wealthy American fellow socialist. I know there is suspicion of the ‘tax avoidance in his will but, he gave us valued information of how the elite running the world get’s the ‘management’ i.e. MPs and the press to carry out their wishes. Cleaver journalist eventually know, just like the rest of the hyena’s they have mortgages and school fees to pay. If writing and drawing nonsense causes Babylon to crumble, lets write and draw information that is truthful. Lets be realistic about how the business of information works and how it is being paid for. Lets look at what information we want and want to pay money for. Lets take responsibility.
