We must find out both sides of the story, and confirm it before we act. Think through the times where we held a negative opinion about someone based on a little of what we saw of them. Did we go further and confirm with them or were we quick in judging them? Taqwa isnt in the length of your beard, or in the thickness of turban you wear. Remember that the best in the sight of Allah is the one who fears Allah and is conscious of Him that Allah is The Judge, so know your role! Allah memerintahkan kita untuk melakukan BAYYAN (verifikasi, klarifikasi, investigasi). Kita harus mengetahui permasalahan dari dua sisi, dan mengkonfirmasikannya sebelum bertindak. Pikirkanlah ketika kita berpendapat negatif tentang seseorang, hanya berdasarkan sedikit informasi dari apa yang kita lihat. Begitukah kita selama ini, senantiasa mengkonfirmasi lebih jauh atau justru terlalu cepat menghakimi mereka? Taqwa itu tidak terkait dengan panjangnya jenggot anda, atau tebalnya sorban yang anda kenakan. Rasulullah bersabda: Taqwa ada di sini, beliau menunjuk ke dada beliau. (HR Muslim). Ingatlah bahwa yang terbaik di sisi Allah adalah orang yang takut kepada Allah dan sadar bahwa Allah adalah Hakim, jadi pahamilah peran anda! Sesungguhnya Rabb-mu Yang Maha Tahu, siapa yang tersesat dijalan-Nya, dan Yang Maha Tahu siapa yang mendapat petunjuk (QS 68:7)]
