-Fixing the shadow- Wasnt to long ago there were a portion of LFC fans calling for Rodgers to be sacked. After all we had a poor start to the season, never mind we came within a whisker of winning the league title and made money bags City sweat on it right up until the second last game of the season or that we played the best most exciting attacking football in Europe. But football is all about what have you done for me latley and up until a few weeks ago there were calls for BR to be shown to the exit. How fickle some people are. Now Ill admit I myself was worried for his future but any doubters left out there should be looking themselves in the mirror this morning and telling themselves patience is a virtue. Last night Liverpool went out against the league leaders and basically passed them off the park, without a recognised striker leading the line we made Chelsea look at best very average. This is a team who boasted a front 4 of Costa,Hazard,Willian and Fabergas who wouldnt look out of place in any of the worlds top teams (they managed 2 shots all night). Put, oh lets say a striker the class of Sturridge in that team and I truely believe Chelsea would have suffered humiliation at Anfield last night. Instead they escaped bruised and bloody but Jose and Co. knew they had just had their arses handed to them compliments of Coutinho and Sterling, the fact their keeper got MOTM says it all. No doubt there was a shadow over Anfield at the start of the season, we strugled intergrating a lot of new faces into our team and we lost 2 thirds of the most potent front 3 I think in Europe last season but we are now looking solid at the back, Sturridge getting back to fitness and a fluidness back in our game thats been our tradmark last year but missing for the first part of the season. If ever you doubted Rodgers is the man to take us forward those doubts should have been put to rest last night. We are Liverpool and last night we reminded Chelsea that league leaders they may be but when you visit Anfield we can make anybody look foolish. Our support is unwaivering where as you couldnt even fill the away end. Having a rich russian sugar daddy doesnt make you a top club Jose. Last night you played a top club with real support, not a plastic flag in sight no even from your famous away support who is more intrested in Steven Gerrard then any player on thier team(cant blame them for that though). Rodgers has fixed the shadow no doubt in my mind and well march on as always to the next game in full voice WE ARE LIVERPOOL TR LA LA LA LA, POTERY IN MOTION TRA LA LA LA LA Dav
