Following a cracking night at Stanpit Village Hall last - TopicsExpress

Following a cracking night at Stanpit Village Hall last November, The Ramblin Roses (Walkfords answer to The Partridge Family) are back! Featuring the performing and songwriting talents of all four members of the Rose family: Alan Rose (vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin) and Charlie Rose (vocals) from the feisty fiddlesome folk-rock band State of Undress (stateofundress); Josh Rose on cajon, drummer with lycra-clad big haired original rock band Saints of Sin (saintsofsin.co.uk) and rising singer/songwriter Ben Rose on vocals and acoustic guitar (facebook/BenRoseMusic). The Ramblin Roses provide an intimate but fun gig of acoustic music interspersed with stories and anecdotes about how certain songs came into being and about life in a family where all four members are out on the road gigging and meet up at 2.30 in the morning to share their evening over a pizza and a glass or two! This is a rare opportunity to find the whole family on stage together. For a little taster of what to expect, here’s some footage from their last visit to SVH: youtu.be/L9PlUiANA00 Tickets £5.00 on the door; or to reserve or buy a ticket in advance, contact The Ramblin’ Roses on: 07971 472768 07988 622398 E: [email protected]
