I will always be your poet~~ The breath of the eagle is what keeps it alive you represented that so well and showed us it thrived-- You gave me courage along the way and you taught me to fly Above the dark clouds of adversity that somehow covered my skies You are my mentor my friend and my co pilot along the way and with all of that and more, in my heart you will stay As my feathers grew to be in the wings I have today, it is to you I owe my gratitude each and every day. You filled a space in our hearts with your wisdom from your nest of which we all sat attentively awaiting you advice at best Your voice quietly rumbled like the winds on the trees And guided us gently through the diverse moments of breeze I cannot thank you enough for all that you are to me Because with every word you have Brought me more open to the inner be My hope is that you are now, one with our creator There is no doubt In my mind, Your presence changed this world for the better.
