: For a number of years in my life, this day was always a day of mixed emotion: joy and sadness. Joy because it was, for many years, my anniversary with Adam. Sadness because of the loss of my childhood friend, Eddie. Now, it has turned into a day of just sadness as both men have passed. These are the types of wounds that never fully heal, they get better, we forget about it temporarily...but on any given day it hits you and sometimes it is harder than others. Both are gone before they even really had a chance to live--18 and 26 are too young. Please keep their families close to your heart during these difficult times.
