“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV) Do you ever grow weary in doing the Lords work or in praying for that lost soul that is so near to you? These words give comfort today! God promises that, just as the water takes a while to do its job in the soil to make things grow and produce seed and grain, so will His Word take time to sink deep within the soul of the lost. These verses dont promise that everyone we witness to will become Christians, but they do give us hope to continue in each new day. We have a purpose and a plan to reach lost souls for Christ. We must be active participants in the salvation plan. Can God Almighty win souls without us? By all means. But how many blessings do we miss by not following His perfect plan for our life? What is Gods plan for your life, and how does He ask you to share His love and His Word with others? Say yes to His call today. You will never regret saying yes to the King of kings.! God, I love You so much! Thank You for assuring us that our work is never in vain when its in Your will. Comfort us when we are tired, lonely, and confused and the whole world seems to be against us. Remind us that as long as we have the Creator for us no one can harm us. Embolden us with Your Word each time we have the opportunity to share about who You are to us. Fill us with the Words You would have us say. Fill us with just enough fear that we must depend upon You! We give You all honor and all glory and all praise! You are so very worthy!!!!
