“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22 All the three arms of government are represented in this scripture: the Judiciary (judge), the Legislature (lawgiver) and the Executive (king). The Lord is keenly interested in all three and seeks to be the ultimate authority behind each of the three arms of government. Everything rises and falls on leadership. Without the right leadership in any jurisdiction, there can be no progress. God has a plan for the politics of our land. He is at work to bring our nations to their destiny. This process is accelerated as we in the Body of Christ engage in continual prayer and it slows down and even reverses when we fail to cover the nation and its leaders in prayer. 1. Enthrone God above all the three arms of our governments 2. Pray for our leaders that they will submit to God and be used to accomplish His will and purpose for our nations 3. Ask the Lord to save and deliver us from all things that hold us back from entering his purpose
