*** Friendly - Ayub Park *** Red Devils 2 - 3 Popo FC Popo FC comeback from a goal down twice to give their captain a perfect farewell before his departure to Dubai. With late goliyaan, Devils had to thank Shayan and Panja jee for coming over on a very late call. AD started in the goal with Mateen and Panja in the defence. Mani started in the holding role with Bhatti, Shayan and Ammar up ahead. Sameer and Bilal Liaqat joined in later to provide some bench strength. Devils got an early lead after some good work by Bhatti down the left, the Devils veterans final ball, intended for the captain, going in off the defender. The lead was short-lived though as Popo FC levelled the game with an excellent goal from outside the box. A brilliant ball by Shayan from the midfield found Ammar who headed home on second attempt after hitting the post on the first header. The lead was lost again as Usman scored another brilliant goal for Popo FC, AD feeling he could have done better with the save. At 2-2, Popo FC had a better share of possession however Devils did get a few good chances to score with Shayan coming closest with a shot that hit the upright. The winner did come though, for Popo FC, as Saleh found himself unmarked infront of the goal to head home the winner on a corner. Ammar had a chance to level the score just before the finish, but the captain could not hit the target. Well played Popo FC, deserved winners.
