It aims to translate Hon’ble Shri Rajivji Gandhi’s vision into action by implementing development programmes that have sustainable impact on these areas of concern. The Trust works in close collaboration with various Governments, Associate Organization, Corporate and a Think Tank, whose operations are aimed at influencing public policy, improving local and global governance and providing enlarged opportunities to the underprivileged and the deprived. HON’BLE SHRI RAJIVJI GANDHI YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (RGYDP) aims to translate Hon’ble Shri Rajivji Gandhi’s vision into action by implementing development programmes on youth, carrying global project in collaboration with various worldwide Governments and development agencies to unite and transform youth as a global skilled resource cadre. RGYDP is a first biggest Indian global development wave through Youth. SLOGAN: “See the World through Vision of Rajivji!” MISSION STATEMENT: Leading the first Indian global development wave through youth by vision and areas of concern that were closest to Hon’ble Shri Rajivji Gandhi’s heart through motivating, tailored training and nurturing the concept “United quantum Power of Youth Development leads ultimately to Global Development.” OBJECTIVES: • Transforming hidden potential of rural as well as urban youth into a great united human resource to think globally and act locally in order to solve national as well as global problems. • Reaching out to all the locations of world, imparting “Hon’ble Shri Rajivji Gandhi Youth Development Project” among all youth and transform them as ‘Global Resource Cadre!’ to reach the unreached areas to bring awareness and involving them in villages and community developmental services etc. in terms of literacy, hygiene, employment and equality. • Developing Resource Persons (RPs) and Executive Change Agents (ECAs) as critical mass leaders to transform youths with specific periodic action plans. • Unite all walks of the society such as People, Governments, Corporate, NGOs, Educational and Non-educational Institutions etc. under one umbrella to consolidate strengths to solve national as well as global problems. RGYDP (INDIA) - THE PROGRAMME HON’BLE SHRI RAJIVJI GANDHI INTERNATIONAL CLUB (RGIC) is being formed in Academic Institutions for regular students and in wards of cities and villages for non academic youths where the Hon’ble Shri Rajivji Gandhi Youth Development Project has been completed. (a) Establishment of RGICs in all the schools, colleges, universities, institutions, wards and villages for implementation of 12 point Programme as follows: • Overall Development of ECAs (Physical, Mental, Educational, Spiritual, Sports and Socio-Economic) • Eradication of Illiteracy, corruption, bad personal and social habits by ECAs (Executive Change Agents). • Nursery Formation, Plantation, Water and Soil Conservation, Environment Protection, Sanitation, Hygienic Drinking Water and taking effective steps towards stop pollution by ECAs. • ECAs identify academic dropout students, child labour and girls not going to school and bring back to school. • ECAs help to students of the Schools, Collages and Universities who are below average in academics. • ECAs have time bound (quarterly/half yearly/ yearly) interactive sessions with successful people. • ECAs learn to show respect to parents, teachers and elders and follow constitution of India. • Students belongs to ECAs take upon advisory roles and initiatives in academic activities like conducting functions, cleanliness, avoidance of food-wastage, discipline within the school, collage, university etc. • Students belongs to ECAs strive to become role models for younger children/student studying in schools, collage, university etc. • ECAs Participate in Entrepreneurship Development Programme. • ECAs Acquiring and mastering in Technical and Management Skills that helps to lead earning and sustainable livelihood. • Telling about Hon’ble Shri Rajivji’s Vision, Life and Sacrificed of Gandhi family by ECAs. Daily common reading of News Papers, Academic, Technical Magazines and Inspirable books followed by Group discussion. (b) Initial one day’s training for Resource Persons from academic and governing institutions for formation and management of RGIC. RGIC office bearers, Specialized Trainers, Resource People and imminent personalities in respective fields will guide and address to RPs. (c) Quarterly two days Advance Personality Development Programme for ECAs on concentration, vision, immediate goals, mind mapping, career counseling, leadership and other important things etc. RGIC office bearers, Specialized Trainers, Resource People and imminent personalities in respective fields will guide/address to Executive Change Agents. (d) Three weeks Overall Development Programme in middle and summer vacation by the Foundation for RGIC Executive Change Agents. (e) Participation in Social Development Network through RGICs. Coordinate to all walks of the society for common beneficial project/community work. (f) Coordination with various agencies to develop academic institutions, charity hospitals, public libraries, NGOs and any Social/Community common beneficial Scheme. (g) Involving people representatives for additional support. (h) Training, Supervision and Monitoring for yearly academic progress for measuring effectiveness and attitudinal change in the RGYDP trained students belongs executive change agents. (i) Providing Agricultural & Non Agro based Technical, Entrepreneurial & Applied training/s for sustainable livelihood using green technologies for Unemployed and School/Collage dropout, skill less and jobless youth. The RGIC are being category wise classified into following divisions for smooth, efficient and sustainable implementation of the programme. Whenever found already established clubs with similar nature/objects these club(s) will be merged with similar group. If any RGIC may think for additional group for any other additional activity not listed below may form additional division subject to prior approval of Head Office. I. Administrative Division II. Academic Division III. Community Development Division IV. Cultural and Entertainment Division V. Environment Protection Division VI. Entrepreneurship Development Division VII. Healthcare Division VIII. Literacy Division IX. Sports Division Resource Persons (RPs) - Self Motivated Social workers, Teachers and Executive Change Agents (ECAs) would form a part of each of the above groups for a period of one academic year and switch over to the next group thereafter. • Any youth within the legal frame such as schools, colleges, universities, institutions, wards and villages etc. who desire to be the change agents are also free to join the respective groups. As per UNICEF still 8 Million children of 6 – 14 age groups not in school in alone India. • These youths however, need to be trained as change agents at school, collage, university, wards and village level and designated as executive change agents (ECAs). • Local Club President and Head of the respective institution may decide the number of ECAs as per the load at his / her discretion. • Local Club President shall be accountable to get the best results from every group to make the RGIC as centre of excellence. This is ensured through a feedback mechanism, where in the principals fill-up an offline/online form and submit the same, and that would be monitored on a monthly basis by the appropriate administrative authorities apart from RGYDP. • The strength of every social reforming activity and organization depends upon the strength of its members. As this is global social reforming activity, every person is a deemed member who ever thinks, speaks, acts to RGYDP. To reach every person of world, to uplift every youth, every enthusiastic patriotic person can carry on this project to every nook and corner. Whatever you are, whenever you are be the right leader to RGYDP. • The head of respective institution (i.e. Head Master, Principal, VC, Village Development Officer, President, CEO, Sarpanch, Wards Member, Chairman, President etc.) shall be responsible to get the best results from every group to make the RGIC as centre of excellence. Resource people and ECAs would form a part of each of the above groups for a period of one academic year, and switch over to the next group thereafter.
