.. GENERATIONAL GAP .. D ARGUMENT.. God is surely watching Goodluck Jonathan and his cohorts said one man seated beside me in the bus as we journeyed down from Onitsha to Aba. I turned to catch a glimpse of who had really said that in an area considered pro Jonathan. Alas! I was wrong. He was reading a popular daily newspaper with a bold caption NYAKO impeached !!! A young man seated directly in the front seat on my row threw a question at him saying; Young Man : Oga why are you talking like this ? Elderly Man : My son, its very annoying how the governments of this country have handled affairs but more annoying how this present government has been too careless about how it has carried out its political and other activities. Young Man : Papa you cant say that, this man called Nyako is a bad man and deserves to be impeached. Elderly man : which state are you a native of ? Young Man : Abia Sir. Elderly Man : Chai ! Ewooh Nwam ! Okay my next question, Have you met this Nyako in person ? Young Man : No Sir. Eldely Man : then how do you know he is a bad man ? Young Man : Well according to the media, he has committed impeachable offences since assumption of office of the Governor of Adamawa State and has made treasonable statements against Mr President. Elderly Man : Really ? Young Man : Yes Elderly Man : How come these offences werent spotted while he was in the presidents party ? Young Man : Well ... Uh um (He stutters but couldnt say a thing) Elderly Man : You said you were of Abia origin Young Man : Yes Elderly Man : Nyako and Orji who will you really say deserves impeachment? Young Man : Well Nyako bit the finger that fed him, why will he turn to betray Mr President and the PDP ? Elderly Man : and Orji didnt bite the finger that fed him, and he didnt switch parties ? We pulled into a petrol station at Oba to refuel, the atmosphere in the bus was getting politically charged up and the journey from the onset was getting interesting ........ THE ARGUMENT CONTINUES ......
