(GOD speaking) Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you. (Zechariah 9:12) - What an interesting verse... are you a prisoner of hope? What does that phrase mean to you? - Paul begins the book of Colossians by praising GOD and reminding us of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven. You cannot escape it, you cannot run away from it... Hope in CHRIST is the source of life... without it we are empty and meaningless. Put your trust in GOD today, and HE will fill your heart with peace and hope - so that no man can take it from you! - Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. - Have a GREAT day!
