# Gift Ideas For Your Bandmates ### For Vocalists 1. Tea and honey Perfect for soothing their aching vocal chords. Best served warm. 2. Pomade or Belo Gift Check Well your vocalists has to look good, doesnt he? If he doesnt look good then take him to Dr. Belos. (joke) 3. A copy of Dannhausers Solfege des Solfeges and a vocal coach If your vocalist cannot sing then you really should tell him. Get him a vocal training book like Solfege des Solfeges. Get him a vocal coach also so he doesnt get stuck with bad technique. ### For Guitarists 1. Strings and picks Strings always break (and always in the middle of a song). Picks magically disappear. Help out your guitarist by buying him a year supply of each. 2. Mirror None of them will admit this, but part of a guitarists regimen is practicing which stance or pose will fit certain situations. Make his life easier with a full length mirror. 3. Instructional Videos If your guitarist cant play and does too many solos, then just get him instructional material. Guitarists are notoriously good at practicing on their own. ### For 2nd Guitarists 1. Spotlight Chances are your 2nd guitarist wanted to be the lead guitarist and deep down inside hes been crying. Give him some of the spotlight from now on. ### For Drummers 1. Sticks and Earplugs Drummers go through sticks fast. Some break sticks more than twice a gig. Buy him a nice big pack of wood and a pair of earplugs so he doesnt break his ears also. 3. T-shirts or Workout videos Due to the nature of his instrument, your drummer will sweat a lot. Buy him extra shirts for your gigs or some workout videos so he can look great playing without a shirt. 4. Metronome If your drummers time is off then buy him a metronome and lock him in the studio until he knows how to play to it. Expect resistance. ### For Bassists 1. Guitar strap and Spa gift check Bassists dont really need much. Your bassist might be carrying a heavy bass though so buy him a nice strap. Get him some spa gift checks for his aching back and shoulders while youre at it. 2. Love and maybe a girlfriend Your bassist is probably the humblest one in the group and he doesnt mind playing in the back. Maybe this is because he is also very shy and doesnt think he is as cute as the other members. Give your bassist some love this Christmas and tell him he is an integral part of the band. If he really is shy, then be a good bandmate and introduce him to a nice girl (because studies show bassists make the best boyfriends). 3. Lock him with your drummer If your bassist just plain sucks then have him hang out with your drummer so they can get better together and be a solid unit. Throw him in the studio along with your lousy drummer so they can practice together. ### And there you have your expertly recommended Christmas presents for bandmates. Guaranteed to make them happy.
