#GivingTuesday #HockeyChecksHunger The OPRF Huskies Hockey and the Park District of Oak Park’s Ice Bears Hockey Club are collecting non-perishable food items for the OPRF Food Pantry now through Saturday, December 6. Hunger may not seem like an issue in affluent communities like Oak Park and River Forest. But in Oak Park alone, it is estimated that thousands of individuals dont know where their next meal is coming from. Items in urgent need include: Canned Soups Canned Meat Cereals (hot or cold) Canned Fruit Canned Tuna Pasta Rice & Beans Canned Vegetables Peanut Butter & Jelly Diapers Shampoo & Soap Toothpaste You can drop off your donations at RCRC, 415 Lake Street, or arrange for pickup at your house this coming Saturday!
