. Glimpses on Scripture Our God is a Jealous God: 4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5. Thou shalt not bow thyself to them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6. And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. [Exodus 20:4-6,KJV]. To the Living God idolatry is forbidden. God clearly said, I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. [Isaiah 42:8, NKJV]. Next is, A graphic description of the nothingness of idols which are only a human-made product. 4. Their idols are silver and gold, The work of mens hands. 5. They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; 6. They have ears, but they do not hear; 7. They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have; but they do not walk; Nor they mutter through their throat. [Psalm 115:4-7, NKJV]. Q. Lord what will happen to idol worshipers in last days? ANSWER: But the idols He shall utterly abolished. They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold. Which they made, each for himself to worship. To the moles of bats, [Isaiah 2:18-20, NKJV].
