"Go into every kitchen and every shop; address all, aged and young, on the salvation of their souls." -Francis Asbury (1745-1816) We must not grow weary or lax in searching for souls to win for the Kingdom. In the eyes of the homeless, in the dirty streets of the cities, in the jaded eyes of the poor and rich alike are questions not asked and hope still deferred; the questions of "where do I go with this pain? who can help me?," still not answered. As Christians we have the answer to the most relevant questions; do you know HOW to tell of this gift we have been given? We KNOW the answer is Jesus Christ, but do we earnestly look for opportunity each and every day to share of his love? Are we ready at all times to give an answer for the hope that we have? Or our we caught up in the daily grind of our lives? The patriarchs of old, many who sacrificed their very lives for the gospel we so freely have access to; would they be so bold as to ask all of us to do OUR part? I think they would. The bible that we so take for granted and sits dusty on many a bookshelf is still banned in 47 countries! You could go to jail or be killed for owning a bible in many parts of the world. In America we are still tenuously holding on to our religious freedoms, I ask all who are reading this, what do you intend to do with that freedom? Will we work diligently to win souls or collect dust like many of our bibles? I pray I am bold in sharing what I have so freely been given until the day Jesus comes for me. My prayer is the same for each of my loved ones reading this....
