“Go to now, ye that say, TODAY or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:” James 4:13. The Oasis of Hope Devotional for 2day! Live tomorrow today. Yesterday is a cancelled check, tomorrow is a promissory note, while today is all we’ve got. Don’t let d day-to-day challenges, trials & disappointment of life keep u from maximizing yo today. Beloved, what will u do? If u knew that u had 24 hours to live, who would u want to speak to & what would u want to say? Are there fences to be mended or apologies to be made? Are there unfinished items on d agenda of yo life that u would need to take care of? How do u know that u will have even 24 hours to live? Now is d time to act! Seize opportunities. Don’t procrastinate – do it now! Say d words & take d actions that may very well be d way those people will remember u. Live as if this is yo last day on earth. Even if yo yesterday was filled with pains, & setbacks, yo today can re-write yesterday’s history. Make it special by starting d day with d Lord in prayer & in His Word. U can never imagine d strength, d encouragement, & joy u have when u start yo day with Christ & His Word. Be d very best u can be on yo job, business or at school. Make it special by spending time with family & friends. Today is a day like none, it is special & unique. When it is over, it is never coming back, so make d most of it. Don’t treat it as just another day, but as d gift from God that it is! Yo tomorrow is determined by d choices u make today! Refuse to dwell on yesterday’s issue. Count yo blessings & watch Him multiply them exceedingly all d days of yo life! Today, have u met with Jesus? And when u see a problem looming in yo tomorrow, don’t be afraid. Look to d Lord, & see His grace deliver u. “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Ps 118:24. Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank u for giving me this wonderful day. Strengthen me with Yo joy & fill me with Yo peace as I keep my mind stayed on u, Amen. Hav a Splendid Wednesday! U r God’s best! Shalom.
