#GoneGirl is gripping, vehement & intense. Rivetting drama that I have never seen! The performances, the haunting score, cinematography & the making hides the simplicity of the premise, as the story basically can be told in a couple of lines. Affleck is at his subtle best. Brilliant underplay. The movie has shades of grey written all over it, with ingenious dark humour. 150 odd mins of engrossing stuff. David Fincher is an extraordinary filmmaker & he again hits the bulls eye with this masterpiece. And yes of course, the Oscar for the Best Actress in a Leading Role, 2015, goes to Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl. Amazing Amy is menacing & breathtaking and steals the show with a killer performance. Gone Girl: Highly recommended to all you cinema lovers to watch this movie in theatres. 4.25/5. P.S: How often do we get to see a Fincher & a Nolan movie release a week after the other? Now, waiting for thalaivars #Interstellar dharisanam on Friday!
