Governor Mary Fallin and GOP State Superintendent Candidate Joy Hoffmeister endorse each other.......... This is the problem with Joy Hofmeister.... she came in the door with Mary Fallins appointment, stepped out to run with urban and suburban school superintendents backing her (with 90% of them supporting CC); told people she works with Kaiser and Schusterman in Tulsa (and their far left liberal progressive big government plans) and then said she was a conservative GOP grassroots candidate which is not at all where she started or how she got promoted for the first 3/4 of her campaign before the primary. Ryan Owens with the Urban School Association spoke for her campaign at the primary watch party and he is the attorney for CCOSA who also fought for CC. A top GOP legislative leader told me the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce said Joy is their candidate. Joy is now The GOP nominee and unless she was a true leader and stood on her own two legs to represent the people she would fall in line with the Governor who for the first time in state history has total control of the State School Board. So that is what Joy did. She didnt change. This is who she is and what she does. She showed me that when I talked with her before she announced to run. She is using whatever she needs in her political strategy to get along and sit in the seat as the state superintendent. I hope John Cox removes her from the stage she has acted on. If he doesnt at least Joy has shown her hand to more people now and that helps us further our cause of continuing to put education on the right track through changes in the legislation that is mandating what teachers, administrators and school systems do. ---Linda Murphy, Oklahoma Eductor
