...Greatest Victory On Earth.... September 2, 2014 Todays Prayer Dear Jesus the mediator to the Father in Heaven, I have to make decisions every day of life. Some are big decisions; others are possibly simple decisions in my eye-sight. Please help me not to presume I know the right decision to make, but to come to You in faith. Show me who would be a good counselor to keep me accountable and help open my eyes when making weighty decisions. I pray that You will give me wisdom and direction, and spiritual discernment to know what is the right decision. God, thank You for being the great Counselor, for loving me, and for correcting the mistakes I sometimes make. Bless You Lord. John 21: 9-14 (topic using these verse 14 KJV) 9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. So often defeat is what is required before victory can be won. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. (John 12:24 KJV) The death of a vision is often required before the fulfillment can really take place. Have you failed at something in your life? Have you not seen the vision fulfilled that you were given? The vision may yet happen, being that it was truly of God. The disciples thought they suffered their greatest defeat when Jesus died on the cross. However, this defeat became the greatest victory on earth. Christs death gave liberty. Forgiveness came to all men. New life came forth, new strength for the disciples also. Resurrection and new life came as a result of a defeat. There are triumphant defeats that rival victories (Montaigne, French philosopher). Be Blessed...Stand for truth as God has said it...
