****HAS LIVED WITH CATS AND KIDS!!!**** A volunteer writes: Blue is really feeling his name, upset that after being part of a family he now finds himself sitting in a Care Center kennel, confused and alone. Not everyone has the time, resources and commitment that a lively youngster needs and Blues people just werent able to keep up with his bouncy energy, especially not with two little toddlers underfoot. Were told he likes children, gets along well with other dogs and even lived in harmony with cats and during his behavior assessment Blue was very playful, bowing and licking the assessor while allowing all handling. He does pull hard on leash but meets other dogs with only the nicest tail wags and body wiggles and he certainly lives up to his house training, going potty immediately and taking care of all his business during our walk. Back in the yard hes happy to chase but not retrieve a ball and never guards his toys, allowing me to pick them up from right under his nose quite calmly and hell sit on command to take treats eagerly but softly from my hand. Blue is still young and very excitable and with his strength, jumpiness and playful mouthing he needs an experienced pet parent able to give him all the exercise and mental stimulation he craves and willing to kindly but firmly show him the ropes when it comes to fine tuning his manners.
