“HAVE YOU EVER CLEANED CHITTERLINGS?” WHAT MRS. B.? I’m - TopicsExpress

“HAVE YOU EVER CLEANED CHITTERLINGS?” WHAT MRS. B.? I’m sure that’s what some of my friends are saying as they read my post. Chitterlings….the small intestines of hogs prepared as food (tasty, if I might say so…no they really are). Sorry, but chitterlings are what I thought about as I internalized the pathology report and visit with Dr. Klimberg on Tuesday. First of all Tuesday is not the day this conversation with my doctor was to take place, I went in 2 days early. Due to pain that I was having ….No I was not doing to much to soon. However, I had allowed my imaginations to get the best of me. Now I understand those scriptures in the Bible that warn us about vain imaginations. I had convinced myself that my pain was due to infection, from the removal of the 2 lymph nodes….and that said infection had traveled down my side and crossed over into the muscle of my “BACK”…..yes I’m a college grad…..imagination had a GRIP. So early Tuesday I called Dr. Klimberg and she told me to come on in. I was in so much pain as we sat waiting….mean while I said to Jesse, please massage my side…I hate to say it but, said pain was almost gone by the time I saw the doctor. Laughing now was not Monday night nor Tuesday morning. Back to the chitterlings report aka pathology report, both lymph glands came back clear of cancer, THANK YOU GOD. Now to the not so good part of the report…I am facing another surgery on the 10th of October. (Not time for VAIN IMAGINATION friends, just part of my journey.) The report showed that I had cancer in a duct of my breast…sounds like chitterlings that had a little something left on/in them to me….so what do you do to chitterlings when that happens? YOU CLEAN THEM SOME MORE, you don’t throw out the whole batch. Dr. Klimberg wants a wider margin of cancer clear tissue, that’s all. In other words…..she does not want anything off-color in her plate of chitterlings. It’s better to take care of this now; after all it’s in a duct. So what did I learn about life, me and God from this? Life is worth the fight, I’m a human with a wild imagination and God has me covered. As I write this I’m watching NCIS (recorded)…..Gibbs says to Leon…..YOU GOT TO STAY POSITIVE…..thank you Gibbs. But if you know me at all, you know I had to read some scriptures on imagination. This is one that I must share: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 The Message Bible (MSG) 16-18 So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. …..I know some only read King James, but I love this translation….. I hope you understand my chitterling aka pathology report. KEEP PRAYING!!!!!! OH, SAID PAIN WAS DUE TO A WILD NIGHT OF SLEEP. :)
