...HEARZ another OBAMANOMICS... with one fell swoop of the pen held by the great Oz, ALL people whose income is based on a salary of $50,000 or less per year will now be forced to work only 40 hours a week without being paid overtime. in itself, seems fair. why should i not get paid for my efforts?...... HEARZ WHY...hourly wage generally indicates some sort of skilled labor, whereas salaried indicates a deeper commitment aimed towards management. labor gets paid hourly and goes home for a beer. salaried works more like a partner. The difference gives the salaried individual a unique opportunity to impress upper management with ones abilities and level of commitment.
